SAP FICO Consultant – Global S/4HANA Deployment

About the role

We are seeking a functional SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) consultant to join Fusion Consulting’s global S/4HANA project. The role involves managing functional testing, process validation and rollout activities across multiple regional deployments, providing end‑to‑end visibility from design through to global rollout.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document global, regional and local test cases, test plans and test data for the FICO workstream.
• Execute tests, record results in SAP Solution Manager and manage defects across streams.
• Coordinate testing activities with external partners such as 3PLs when required.
• Provide status reporting and ensure testing aligns with the project schedule.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to align business requirements with global standards.
• Participate in design and rollout phases to translate business processes into testing specifications and ensure smooth implementation.
• Leverage S/4HANA features to improve testing efficiency and gain comprehensive process knowledge.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of business experience in SAP FICO, with hands‑on use of SAP R3 or S/4HANA.
• Strong ability to analyse, design, describe and test end‑to‑end business processes.
• Broad knowledge of ERP and decentralized systems, and of finance and controlling processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and change‑management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
