Racket Attendant

About the role

Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Racket Attendant. The role covers the proper maintenance of the tennis and pickleball courts and provides exceptional customer service to guests and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Court maintenance: keep tennis and pickleball courts in top playing condition, inspect them regularly and report significant needs to the appropriate department.
• Work with Har-Tru material, including irrigation, rolling and removal of dead material, and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Customer service: greet guests professionally, guide them to the courts, provide equipment such as balls, rackets, paddles and shoes, and handle feedback and complaints with empathy.
• Daily operations: work five shifts a week, keep the racket attendant area clean, prepare and mark the courts each day, and assist in setting up and coordinating tournaments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in court maintenance, particularly with Har-Tru material, is preferred.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and court maintenance equipment.
• Moderate English communication skills and strong customer service orientation.
