R2R Bank Reconciliation Analyst

About the role

The R2R Bank Reconciliation Analyst works within the Global Business Services (GBS) team to ensure that bank statements are accurately matched to the company’s general ledger. The role supports cash flow reporting, helps close the books each period, and maintains strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile bank statements with general ledger accounts across multiple entities.
• Validate cash balances, investigate and resolve reconciliation differences.
• Support cash flow reporting and maintain accurate cash position data.
• Participate in month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and financial regulations.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Accounting and Finance teams to clear discrepancies.
• Maintain complete documentation for audit purposes and update SOPs.
• Analyze root causes of recurring differences and drive corrective actions.
• Contribute to process‑improvement, standardisation and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, cash accounting, R2R or shared services.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese or Canadian French is a plus.
