Finance Data Analyst – Data Management & Reporting

About the role

Avionyx is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to design, develop and maintain financial data pipelines and reporting solutions. The role combines finance knowledge with strong data‑engineering skills to support the company’s transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and its Azure‑based data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain financial data models and ETL processes using Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and Azure Data Factory.
• Integrate data from Dynamics 365, Azure Data Lake Storage and third‑party systems via REST and Microsoft Graph APIs.
• Manage data creation, change, access and manipulation within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and related ERP systems.
• Develop and maintain data sources for financial reporting and ensure data quality and governance.
• Define and document data management standards, archiving procedures and operational plans.
• Support master data design decisions and conduct current‑state and future‑state assessments for the new ERP platform.
• Assist product lifecycle management workstreams and contribute to cross‑functional data initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, financial data analysis, database administration or data science.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proven ability to work independently, communicate effectively and take ownership of projects from initiation to delivery.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, query optimization) in Databricks/Azure.
• Python programming for data manipulation (pandas, PySpark) and API interaction.
• Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
• Azure Data Factory for pipeline orchestration.
• REST and Microsoft Graph API development.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Data modeling and ETL design for relational databases.
