Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the role

Near Coding is looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for our software applications. You will ensure high‑quality releases by creating robust test frameworks, identifying defects early, and collaborating closely with development and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with C#.
• Create and run automated test scripts for web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Perform manual API testing with tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
• Develop performance test suites using Apache JMeter or similar tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support shift‑left testing.
• Validate backend data using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners.
• Track, report, and manage defects through resolution.

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience in software development or testing.
• 5+ years of UI automation experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• 5+ years of RESTful API testing experience.
• 3+ years of performance testing experience (e.g., JMeter).
• 2+ years working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• 3+ years of programming experience in Java or C# (Python knowledge a plus).
