Public Services Strategy Consultant

About the role

Accenture is looking for a motivated Strategy Consultant to expand its Public Services practice. You will work with government agencies, nonprofits, NGOs and foundations to solve complex strategic challenges amid funding pressure and rising service demand.

Key responsibilities

• Structure complex client problems and develop hypothesis‑driven approaches.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses across markets, funding models, operating performance and capabilities.
• Synthesize insights into executive‑level recommendations, decision frameworks and strategic roadmaps.
• Create client deliverables such as strategy decks, operating model designs, business cases and technology implementation plans.
• Build financial models to evaluate strategic options and trade‑offs.
• Provide thought leadership on sustainability trends, UN SDGs and ESG reporting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, or corporate/nonprofit advisory roles.
• Demonstrated exposure to core‑strategy projects within the Public Services domain.
• Primary focus on strategy development with a secondary focus on IT strategy.
