Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects at our La Lima Free Zone site in Cartago, Costa Rica. You will ensure projects meet timing, cost, quality, and benefit targets while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze project requirements and develop comprehensive project plans.
• Maintain documentation of scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Communicate project status and structure across all departments and stakeholders.
• Identify potential issues, evaluate cost and time impacts, and propose alternatives.
• Monitor cost structures, track deviations, and report financial performance.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, sales/marketing, and purchasing during project definition and approval.
• Manage day‑to‑day project progress, conduct risk assessments, and resolve problems.
• Lead project meetings, serve as the primary contact for internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
• Support implementation of workflow and reporting tools to improve quality, profitability, and efficiency.
• Mentor, coach, and develop project team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• At least 5 years of project management experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Willingness to travel locally, nationally, or internationally as needed.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem‑solving, presentation, budgeting, and planning abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using Microsoft Planner.
• Outlook and other collaboration applications.
