Process Excellence Lead – GBS (Alajuela, Costa Rica)

About the role

We are looking for a Process Excellence Lead to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency within our Global Business Services (GBS) functions in Alajuela, Costa Rica. The role will apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies, automation and digital tools to transform processes and deliver measurable performance gains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute process improvement projects across GBS functions, identifying waste and optimizing performance.
• Deploy Lean, Kaizen and Agile techniques, and implement automation solutions such as RPA and AI.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership to define transformation opportunities and present improvement proposals.
• Define, track and report KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Facilitate training and coaching on Lean methodologies for teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Process Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Change Management within a multinational, matrixed organization.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.
