Manufacturing Scheduler – Plastic Injection Molding

About the role

ElectroPlast, a Costa Rican plastic injection molding manufacturer operating in a Free Trade Zone, is seeking a Manufacturing Scheduler to keep the plant running smoothly. You will translate client demand and machine capacity into actionable daily and weekly production plans.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute daily and weekly production schedules based on demand and capacity.
• Optimize changeover times, including mold changes, resin purges, and color transitions.
• Monitor production in real time and adjust schedules for breakdowns, material shortages, or rush orders.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Procurement to verify material availability before scheduling runs.
• Track and report KPIs such as schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and cycle times.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or technical degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in production planning or manufacturing scheduling.
• Experience in plastic injection molding is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle or equivalent).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong English communication (B2+ level) for interaction with international clients and teams.
