Production Supervisor II – Shift A

About the role

The Production Supervisor II – Shift A will coordinate daily manufacturing activities, ensuring products are produced to specification, cost targets, and quality standards while complying with EHS and QA policies.

Key responsibilities

• Organize employees, materials, equipment and other resources to meet daily, weekly and monthly production plans and KPIs.
• Monitor and control production KPIs, implement preventive actions to avoid line downtime.
• Maintain constant communication with technical teams to prevent manufacturing interruptions.
• Train staff on quality, EHS, GMP and GDoc practices and ensure required certifications.
• Supervise production lines, intervene on quality, safety, ergonomic or scrap issues, and manage SPC data.
• Research CAPA and NCR actions and propose quality and safety improvements.
• Close production orders, controlling variances in material, labor and machine data.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
• Coordinate budget, approve overtime and manage staffing conflicts to promote teamwork.

Required profile

• Engineering Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar production supervisory role.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing standards, ISO 13485 and CFR 21 knowledge desirable.
• Proven leadership, continuous‑improvement mindset and ability to prioritize quickly.

Required skills

• Bilingual English/Spanish (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 quality management system.
• Familiarity with CFR 21 regulatory requirements.
