Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing floor. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, testing, and adjusting production machinery, including dies, molds, and related tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks to keep machine downtime low and meet a minimum 95% on‑time delivery target.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Engineering on equipment upgrades and project work.
• Perform light machining, basic electrical control repairs, and assemble or debug new tooling.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing tooling, order replacement parts, and manage purchased tooling inventory.
• Use Solution Center Tools Level 1 to log manufacturing issues that cannot be resolved on the shop floor.

Required profile

• High school diploma (3rd or 4th cycle) plus a 2‑year or 4‑year technical degree in Automotive, Precision, Electrical or Mechanical fields.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a technical or manufacturing environment, preferably as a maintenance or equipment technician.
• Ability to read technical prints and work independently while handling multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to stand or sit for at least 90 minutes and lift up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Knowledge of proximity sensors, servo motors, production cameras, and PLC programming/troubleshooting.
• Experience with light machining, basic electrical controls repair, soldering, and general die mechanics.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Solution Center Tools Level 1 proficiency.
