Loan Operations Internal Audit Analyst

About the role

World Business Lenders is a U.S.-based lender that provides short‑term commercial loans backed by real‑estate collateral. The company operates 100% remotely for qualified candidates in Turkey, Latin America, and India. The role involves conducting internal audits across the entire loan lifecycle while ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal audits and operational reviews covering loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and collections.
• Identify process inefficiencies, operational risks, and control gaps within loan operations.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and risk‑management standards.
• Develop and deliver audit findings with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to track and resolve remediation actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in internal auditing, loan operations, risk management, or compliance within the financial services sector.
• Background in banking, lending institutions, or commercial/mortgage lending.
• Strong command of oral and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
