Lead Cloud Network Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Cloud Network Engineer at Experian, you will design and operate cloud‑native and hybrid networking solutions across AWS, Azure and other public clouds. You will work closely with platform, security and application teams to deliver resilient, secure and self‑service network services that enable large‑scale cloud adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain AWS VPCs, Azure VNets, subnets, routing tables, NAT, IGW and firewall configurations.
• Implement hub‑and‑spoke, transit VPC/VNet and multi‑account/subscription networking models.
• Architect hybrid connectivity such as AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, site‑to‑site VPN and client VPN.
• Develop routing strategies using BGP, static routing and route propagation across multi‑cloud environments.
• Build shared network services (transit gateways, virtual WAN, centralized ingress/egress, DNS, NTP, IPAM, firewall).
• Automate network provisioning and lifecycle management with Terraform and CloudFormation, integrating into CI/CD and GitOps pipelines.
• Embed security, governance and observability controls into infrastructure as code, supporting Zero Trust and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cloud platform, SRE and application teams to define reusable network patterns and enable self‑service onboarding.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and operating cloud networking in AWS and Azure environments.
• Strong background in hybrid connectivity, routing protocols and network security.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and work cross‑functionally with platform and security teams.
• Hands‑on expertise with infrastructure‑as‑code and automation frameworks.
