Junior Accounting Governance Analyst – Global Processes

About the role

The Junior Accounting Governance Analyst will support Bacardi Enterprise Services in managing accounting governance processes for a large portfolio of legal entities. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, contribute to internal controls, and assist with period‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process Sysaid service requests and provide payment proof to stakeholders.
• Create and post recurring journal entries and handle accruals, allocations, reclassifications, amortizations, write‑offs, payroll entries, and other adjustments.
• Clear general‑ledger accounts and perform VAT netting and clearing.
• Reconcile cash, prepaid, accruals, advances, equity, capital, suspense, retained earnings, and selected receivables.
• Support carry‑forward processes for leading and non‑leading ledgers.
• Participate in process‑standardisation and improvement projects.
• Maintain work‑breakdown‑structure master data and intercompany non‑trade postings.
• Communicate with internal clients, meet service‑level agreements, and ensure compliance with GAAP and Bacardi policies.

• Adaptable and able to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with Sysaid or similar service‑request platforms.
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Proficiency in general‑ledger accounting and journal entry processing.
• Knowledge of VAT accounting and reconciliation techniques.
