IT Technologist – SCCM & OSD Administrator

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an IT Technologist to manage SCCM and Operating System Deployment (OSD) in a global enterprise environment. You will ensure reliable application delivery, software updates, and endpoint compliance while supporting the broader security and compliance agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Operate day‑to‑day SCCM and OSD processes across a worldwide infrastructure.
• Monitor application deployments, software updates and endpoint health.
• Troubleshoot, perform root‑cause analysis and resolve endpoint management issues.
• Coordinate with Managed Service Providers and support operational activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs and operational procedures.
• Participate in device provisioning, refresh programs and lifecycle management.
• Generate reports on deployment success, patch compliance and client health.
• Support deployment and maintenance of enterprise security configurations and remediate vulnerability findings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in endpoint management, desktop engineering or systems administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and OSD activities.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot deployment and software issues.
• Fluent written and verbal English.

Required skills

• Windows endpoint management and administration.
• SCCM administration – software deployment, application packaging, Software Update Point, patch management, collections, maintenance windows, client health monitoring, inventory and reporting.
• Operating System Deployment – task‑sequence creation, driver package management, boot images, PXE deployment, image lifecycle management.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Active Directory, Group Policy and Entra ID fundamentals.
