IT Security Operations Analyst II

About the role

World Kinect is seeking an IT Security Operations Analyst II to join its InfoSec Operations team. You will help protect the company’s infrastructure by monitoring security events, investigating alerts, and responding to incidents across a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tier‑2 analysis and triage of logs and alerts escalated from tier‑1 analysts or MSSP partners.
• Investigate security alerts, conduct incident response, and act as Incident Commander when required.
• Execute vulnerability management, threat identification, and proactive threat‑hunting activities.
• Conduct forensic investigations, malware analysis, and root‑cause analysis on compromised assets.
• Optimize and tune security tools such as SIEM, DLP, EDR, antivirus, cloud security solutions, and IDS.
• Maintain and upgrade security applications and tools supporting the InfoSec Operations service.
• Monitor government, industry, and vendor threat‑intelligence feeds and assess relevance to WFS assets.
• Participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation to provide escalation support.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in network and systems engineering with a focus on security operations.
• Strong understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Experience with incident response, threat hunting, and forensic analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively with GRC, engineering, and blue‑team groups.
