Hardware/Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Hardware/Electrical Design Engineer to create control systems for industrial automation equipment such as conveyor and sortation systems used in parcel, logistics, and e‑commerce distribution. The role is fully remote and focuses on the design phase, while other teams handle installation and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Design hardware and electrical control systems for automated material‑handling equipment.
• Produce AutoCAD drawings, schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Apply knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, and safety devices to develop buildable designs.
• Translate project specifications and mechanical requirements into detailed engineering documentation.
• Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Work on a project‑by‑project basis, moving to new assignments as design phases conclude.

Required profile

• 5+ years of senior‑level experience in hardware/electrical design for industrial automation or material‑handling equipment.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of physical components such as motors, drives, sensors, and PLCs.
• Excellent English communication skills for real‑time collaboration with U.S. engineering teams.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
