General Operator

About the role

The General Operator at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica – Peninsula Papagayo will support the maintenance team by ensuring all painted surfaces throughout the hotel are kept in excellent condition. This hands‑on role combines routine painting, colour matching and minor repairs to maintain the resort’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and select appropriate paint types for various surfaces.
• Apply painting techniques to walls, ceilings and other objects, ensuring colour consistency.
• Perform patching and repair of plaster ceilings.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to schedule regular painting programmes for hotel areas.
• Maintain tools and supplies needed for painting and repair tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in hotel or resort maintenance, preferably with a focus on painting.
• Attention to detail and ability to work safely at height when required.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with the maintenance team.
