GBS Accounting Analyst II

About the role

Equifax is looking for a GBS Accounting Analyst II in its accounting function, based in CRI-Sabana (Costa Rica). The role suits someone who enjoys optimizing processes and solving corporate accounting challenges, with ownership of key accounting processes and a direct impact on financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily general accounting functions, including journal entries for accruals, prepayments, reclassifications and bank transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations and prepare detailed reports on Accounts Payable, Intercompany, Prepayments and Banks.
• Ensure compliance with fiscal electronic invoicing regulations.
• Support the intercompany process and month-end closing activities.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to internal accounting controls and corporate policies.

Required profile

• Advanced student or recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience handling AP, General Ledger and Intercompany processes.
• B2 English proficiency.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, adaptable and self-driven, able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• 2 to 3 years of advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience preparing tax and PROCOMER forms is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP, SAP Concur, Google Workspace and AI tools such as Gemini is a plus.
