Financial Analyst – Business Planning & Analysis (GBS)

About the role

Join the OPEX team of a leading global medical technology company as a Financial Analyst supporting Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A) for the Global Business Services (GBS) function. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners and senior leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end GBS operating expense management, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned business units.
• Maintain financial planning models, develop forecasts, track trends, and produce performance commentary.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports and analyses for BP&A Business Partners and corporate finance teams.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including journal entries and intercompany charge‑outs.
• Analyze actual performance versus plan and provide insights for management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (relevant experience may substitute).
• 2–3 years of finance experience focused on planning, budgeting, financial analysis, month‑end close, and reporting.
• Experience in a large, global, multi‑segment organization, preferably with intercompany accounting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes of variances and suggest performance improvements.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
