Finance Process Lead - AR (SAP S/4HANA)

About the role

Dentsply Sirona is looking for a Finance Process Lead - Accounts Receivable (AR) to shape, govern and support global SAP S/4HANA AR processes within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) landscape. The role is an experienced individual contributor with independent ownership of AR process domains, driving global standardization and supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations and enhancements. It reports to the Senior Finance Process Lead and works with Enterprise Process Owners and global Finance, Sales and IT stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AR workstreams in SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations and global rollouts, acting as the main day-to-day process authority for defined AR sub-processes.
• Define, maintain and enforce global AR process standards, templates, controls and governance models.
• Lead end-to-end AR process design, including customer invoicing, incoming payments, clearing, credit coordination and open-item management.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and FI-AR for end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
• Provide functional leadership for SAP S/4HANA AR configuration and solution design aligned with SAP best practices.
• Partner with Finance Operations, Sales and Billing teams, and run design workshops, process walkthroughs and working sessions with business and IT stakeholders.
• Coordinate unit testing, integration testing and UAT, and support cutover and stabilization from a process leadership standpoint.
• Identify process gaps and control risks, propose solutions aligned with SAP and audit requirements, and maintain AR process documentation and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Information Systems.
• 7+ years of SAP Accounts Receivable experience, including SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
• Proven ability to lead global AR process workstreams and engage senior stakeholders.
• Eligible to work in the country where the position is based.

• Strong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Accounts Receivable.
• Solid understanding of financial controls, compliance and audit requirements.
• Ability to translate business requirements into standardized SAP AR solutions.
• Confident communicator with technical and non-technical audiences.
