About the role
Bill Gosling Outsourcing is hiring Collections Representatives in Belen, Heredia, Costa Rica, within the financial services industry. This is an entry-level position, so no previous collections experience is required.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls
- Assist customers with account and payment-related inquiries
- Discuss outstanding balances and available payment options
- Help customers find solutions suited to their situation
- Document customer interactions accurately
- Follow established procedures, call flows and compliance guidelines
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach on every call
Required profile
- No previous collections experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- B2+ English level
Required skills
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Basic computer skills
- Confidence communicating with customers over the phone
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills
