Employee Relations & Retention Generalist

About the role

We are looking for an Employee Relations & Retention Generalist to ensure compliance with labor legislation and develop proactive talent retention strategies that reduce turnover. The role supports a stable organizational climate aligned with the quality and productivity standards of our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage disciplinary processes, including warnings, suspensions and terminations, in full accordance with the Labor Code.
• Provide advisory support to production supervisors on internal policies and labor law interpretation.
• Lead labor mediations and represent the company during inspections or judicial proceedings when required.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of employee departures, focusing on the first three months of probation.
• Administer employee climate surveys, develop action plans and track improvements in satisfaction.
• Coordinate exit interviews, analyse results and identify risk trends for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, Business Administration or a related field; specialization in labor legislation preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar HR role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices or free‑trade‑zone settings.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1) for corporate reporting.
