Data Engineer – Remote (100% Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud‑based data solutions. The position is fully remote and supports enterprise analytics initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and cloud‑native services.
• Build and optimise data solutions on AWS.
• Develop and manage Snowflake data‑warehouse environments.
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for data‑engineering workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Work with Apache technologies such as Spark, Airflow, Kafka, and Hive for large‑scale processing.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise data platform performance.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, architects and cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure security, governance and compliance across data platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience in Python programming for data engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with code review processes and software development best practices.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Hive or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Experience using Git for version control.
