Custom Project Manager - Support Services Delivery

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Custom Project Manager for Support Services Delivery in Heredia, Costa Rica. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers scoping, planning, executing and closing custom support projects, acting as the main contact between clients and internal teams, and includes inventory management, entitlement support, billing and invoicing and case management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, resources, timelines and deliverables.
• Liaise with clients to understand their support needs and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee inventory requests and tracking for customer assets, including monthly or quarterly true-ups.
• Manage customer entitlements so that support matches contracted service levels, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate billing and invoicing of purchase orders, review purchase orders and prepare invoices.
• Monitor cases, identify potential escalations early and work with support teams to resolve them.
• Collaborate with technical support, engineering, operations and sales teams, and lead or take part in customer-facing and internal support meetings.
• Identify risks and issues, maintain documentation, give regular status updates and ensure quality of delivery.
• Look for process improvements in custom support delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent project management experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in project management or a related role preferred.
• A project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or ITIL is preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong client-facing skills, excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
