Credit Controller Representative III

About the role

The Credit Controller Representative III is a key member of the Order to Cash (OTC) team, responsible for managing credit risk and ensuring timely collection of receivables across North America. The role involves close collaboration with customers and internal departments to maintain healthy cash flow and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a medium‑complex customer portfolio, ensuring compliance with payment terms and credit limits using ERP systems and the Order Release Portal.
• Perform risk assessments on new and existing accounts and recommend appropriate credit limits, risk categories, and terms.
• Track unapplied and unidentified payments, allocate them accurately, and support the team in meeting annual collection targets.
• Conduct financial statement analysis and advise on credit line adjustments.
• Release orders on credit hold after analysis and set up credit terms for new clients.
• Negotiate payment plans, handle credit and debit notes, and facilitate credit‑card payments under supervisory approval.
• Maintain web billing systems, respond to customer inquiries, and prepare statements and reports for accounting.
• Prioritize email inbox, advise supervisors on uncollectible accounts, and support process documentation and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or related finance functions.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills
