Core Banking Presales Consultant (LATAM)

About the role

Temenos, a global leader in banking technology, is looking for a Senior Presales Functional Consultant to join its LATAM Business Solutions Group. The consultant acts as a subject matter expert who explains the value of Temenos products to clients, prospects and partners, and builds strong client relationships from C-Level to mid-management and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake solution consultancy with prospects to understand their technology needs and drivers for change, and position Temenos solutions and differentiators
• Collaborate with the sales team to present Temenos technology and architecture and win qualified deals
• Answer technical queries from RFI/RFPs and clients, distributors and partners quickly and accurately
• Design solution blueprints and configure screens, inquiries, reports, workflows, code, documents and scripts for workshops and proof of concepts
• Take part in customer calls and events, and give product demonstrations covering functionality and technical requirements
• Serve as the contact point for technology queries from customers and internal partner groups such as Product and Model Bank

Required profile

• Exceptional verbal and written communication in Spanish and English
• Experience in the retail banking industry, either in a bank or with a core banking solution provider
• Front-end client-facing experience and availability to travel frequently
• Proactive, highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Familiarity with retail banking product lifecycles, transactions and transaction accounting
• Ability to look beyond the systems and understand underlying client requirements
• Familiarity with SaaS services and cloud technologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
