About the role

The Cook A leads culinary production within a designated station at Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo, delivering the highest standards of quality, flavor, presentation and hygiene. This role is essential to creating the memorable dining experiences that define the Four Seasons brand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute all cooking activities in the assigned station, ensuring consistency with Four Seasons service philosophy.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
• Supervise daily kitchen operations in collaboration with the station chef.
• Guide and mentor junior cooks, providing on‑the‑job training and performance feedback.
• Participate actively in team development, motivation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Valid food handling certification.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a high‑level professional kitchen.
• Advanced mastery of culinary techniques and cooking methods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead kitchen operations and inspire team members.
