Controls Application Engineer II

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Application Engineer II to support both pre‑sales and post‑sales projects. You will work closely with sales and engineering teams to design, document, and deliver building control solutions for medium to high‑complexity projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist sales and engineering on pre‑sales and post‑sales initiatives, including takeoffs, system selections, and pricing.
• Prepare bill of materials, subcontractor RFPs, and marked‑up drawings such as BAS architecture and wiring diagrams.
• Develop shop, submittal, and as‑built drawings based on site surveys and markup reviews.
• Create post‑sales design drawings and comprehensive engineering packages.
• Provide technical support to internal and external engineering teams on complex projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in engineering‑related activities.
• Strong professional communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
• Willingness to learn building controls systems and meet project deadlines with a positive attitude.
