Computational Linguist – Conversational AI

About the role

Omilia is looking for a Computational Linguist to join its software team that builds cutting‑edge conversational AI and agentic technologies for quick‑service restaurants worldwide. You will work on voice and chat solutions, gaining deep insight into the technologies that enable omni‑channel human‑system interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test production‑grade conversational AI systems.
• Collaborate with customers to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Create and test semantic models and conversation flows using both machine‑learning and rule‑based approaches.
• Analyse real‑world dialogs, evaluate system performance and propose improvements.
• Participate in QA activities, including regression and end‑to‑end testing.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computational Linguistics, NLP, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong command of English and Spanish.
• Junior‑level programming knowledge and ability to work with data to draw insights.
• Excellent communication skills, customer‑facing attitude and ability to meet demanding deadlines.
