Collections Manager

About the role

The Collections Manager will lead the end‑to‑end Invoice to Cash (I2C) lifecycle for assigned segments across the United States and Canada. This position is central to ensuring accurate cash application, resolving billing inquiries, and maintaining high standards of financial compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, mentor and develop the I2C team, establishing clear workflows and fostering an inclusive culture.
• Hire talent, set goals, conduct coaching sessions and support professional growth.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Tax, Customer Lifecycle Operations and Credit to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Develop and execute I2C strategies tailored to US and Canadian markets, monitoring metrics to reduce delinquency and unapplied cash.
• Analyze aging reports, mitigate risk and address escalations with empathy.
• Identify automation opportunities, improve workflow efficiency and ensure compliance with regional regulations and SOX controls.
• Prepare and share performance reports highlighting cash flow status and operational insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in credit and collections.
• 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proven experience managing teams that support Billing, Collections and Cash Applications in the US and Canada.
