Business Analyst, Rewire Office

About the role

JLL's Rewire Office is an AI transformation office within the firm's real estate business lines. The Business Analyst provides the analysis and documentation that turn an AI opportunity into a designed solution the business can adopt. The role works inside the delivery team alongside AI agents, checks their output, and turns requirements into approved, costed designs.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery with business line teams through interviews, workshops and observation of live work, documenting how work is done today, who does it and where cost and effort sit.
• Map current and target state processes to the Rewire Office standard, recording volumes, handoffs, systems, exceptions and cycle times.
• Build a quantitative baseline for each opportunity from time, volume and cost data, keeping a log of the assumptions behind every figure so the Strategy and Design Lead can test them with finance and the business line.
• Support the benefit case by preparing model inputs, running sensitivity checks and maintaining the evidence trail behind each saving.
• Write business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for the Automation and AI pillar, and answer design questions as the build progresses.
• Prepare inputs to the implementation plan, covering process and role changes, dependencies and the decisions the business needs to make and when.
• Support user acceptance testing and rollout with the transformation team PMO, and capture adoption and usage data after go live so benefits can be traced.
• Use AI agents in your own working method for transcription, synthesis, analysis and documentation, and check their output against source material.
• Keep documentation to one standard across business analysts and process mappers, contribute to reusable templates and process libraries, and raise risks, scope changes and data gaps early.

Required profile

• 5 or more years in business analysis, process improvement, operations consulting or transformation delivery.
• Process mapping and current state documentation to a recognised notation or agreed standard.
• Requirements elicitation and writing, including interviews, workshops, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Fast and agile ways of working, comfortable with incomplete information and iteration.
• Practical understanding of what AI and automation can do and where they fall short.
• Ability to work with AI agents and incorporate them into delivery.
• Fluent written and spoken English; preferred: consulting, strategy or transformation practice background, Power BI or comparable tools, offshoring/shared service experience, real estate or facilities management experience, and exposure to automation or AI delivery.
