Bilingual Full-Cycle Medical Biller

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, organized Bilingual Full‑Cycle Medical Biller to support U.S.‑based healthcare providers. Working remotely from Costa Rica, you will manage medical billing, claims processing, accounts receivable follow‑up, and revenue‑cycle operations while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Submit clean claims electronically and on paper across multiple specialties and payer types.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage; apply accurate CPT, ICD‑10, and HCPCS codes.
• Handle workers’ compensation, auto accident, and out‑of‑network billing workflows.
• Review EOBs, resolve claim discrepancies, and track denied or rejected claims.
• Appeal denials, follow up with insurers, and contact patients about outstanding balances.
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, monitor AR aging, and prioritize collection activities.
• Maintain detailed, audit‑ready documentation and stay updated on coding and payer regulations.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken), English level C1 or higher.
• 1–2 years of experience in U.S. medical billing, revenue‑cycle management, or healthcare administration.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
