Backend Engineer (JSON Schema Developer) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer specialized in JSON Schema development to work remotely on an hourly basis. You will translate complex, unstructured documents into well‑defined data models that power our integration pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex documents and identify structured data points.
• Design and implement robust JSON schemas with appropriate field types, validation rules, and constraints.
• Define logical relationships and validation logic within schemas.
• Develop API contracts to ensure seamless data integration across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine data requirements and schema design.
• Document schema structures, field definitions, and usage guidelines.
• Promote best practices in data modeling, architecture, and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data modeling, schema design, and JSON schema development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
