Associate Sourcing Manager

About the role

Workday is seeking an Associate Sourcing Manager (Express Sourcing Specialist) to join its Source-to-Pay team. In this fast‑paced position you will handle a high volume of low‑to‑medium dollar sourcing projects, ensuring timely and cost‑effective procurement of goods and services while supporting the company’s broader sourcing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sourcing projects in line with category‑level strategies for low‑to‑medium dollar spend.
• Manage a large number of sourcing requests using standardized procedures.
• Create, review, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Negotiate pricing, service level agreements, and other commercial terms with suppliers.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate supplier‑related risks.
• Run low‑complexity RFQs and quick bids to select best‑value suppliers.
• Prioritize use of preferred and existing suppliers whenever possible.
• Meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs for project completion and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate data in procurement systems.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and efficient with a strong understanding of procurement and sourcing principles.
• Ability to manage high‑volume, low‑value sourcing activities.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Detail‑oriented with solid risk‑assessment skills.
