Account Executive – SaaS, Cloud & Cybersecurity

About the role

The Splunk Account Executive team drives strategic decisions within customers' buying centers by leveraging deep expertise in SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, and observability. This hybrid role, based in Costa Rica, focuses on aligning Splunk’s portfolio with client goals to generate incremental and recurring revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Influence and guide buying‑center decisions using market insights on SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity and observability.
• Serve as the Account Orchestrator, integrating Splunk products, services and solutions with customer strategies.
• Build and manage a quality pipeline, prospect new opportunities, negotiate and close deals ranging from $50K to $750K (larger for strategic partners).
• Develop forecasts, weekly/monthly/quarterly sales commitments, and account plans.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape and emerging trends in cybersecurity and observability.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling complex SaaS and cloud solutions to enterprise customers.
• Strong ability to engage C‑suite and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills for forecasting and pipeline management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across portfolio sellers and adhere to GTM processes.
