Sales Representative – Commercial Team

About the role
The Sales Representative joins Prysmian's Commercial Team, reporting to the Commercial Manager. The role focuses on building strong relationships with distributors, dealers and end‑customers to drive market penetration and sustainable growth across the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct frequent customer visits, provide technical support and organise sales training sessions.
- Handle claims, prepare special quotations and respond promptly to customer requests.
- Track business KPIs, maintain accurate sales forecasts and ensure compliance with pricing and commercial policies.
- Prepare quotes for new business development and project opportunities, focusing on product mix across copper, aluminum and MMS families.
- Analyse scope of work, competitors and market size to identify new opportunities and expand market share.
- Update CRM daily with customer visits and pipeline opportunities; support the finance team in achieving DSO goals by monitoring collections.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- 0–3 years of experience, preferably in the industrial or electrical sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with intermediate English proficiency.
- Analytical mindset, problem‑solving abilities and experience working in cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
- Experience with SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- CRM usage for sales pipeline management.
