Project Manager – Global SAS to NVMe Program

About the role

The Project Manager will lead a multi‑year global program that upgrades customer storage arrays from SAS to NVMe. Acting as the single point of contact, you will ensure customers transition to a modern, fully supported infrastructure while meeting long‑term service commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers and account teams to introduce the upgrade program and outline key requirements and processes.
• Collaborate with Technical QA Engineers to review and validate upgrade action plans and present project plans directly to customers.
• Identify the correct Bill of Materials and submit all required part‑dispatch requests.
• Coordinate all dependencies for onsite work, including code upgrades or technical pre‑work with Support teams.
• Proactively follow up on pending tasks to ensure timely progress across all project activities.
• Maintain consistent, clear communication with customers, providing updates throughout each stage of the upgrade process.
• Schedule onsite activities in partnership with Installation Scheduling teams and track milestones accurately.
• Confirm completion of all deliverables and ensure activity status is properly documented.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all questions, issues, and escalations related to the upgrade.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and metrics for the Program Lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 + year experience leading customer‑facing, cross‑functional projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities with attention to detail.
• Proactive, action‑oriented mindset with the ability to operate independently.
• Proven track record of delivering positive customer satisfaction outcomes.
