Junior HR Analyst (HR Generalist)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior HR Analyst to join our shared‑service HR team in Costa Rica. The role supports the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with local labor legislation while delivering a high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager inquiries.
• Manage onboarding activities, including document delivery and orientation.
• Administer benefits, wellness programs, and coordinate with external vendors.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data, generate reports, and ensure data integrity.
• Update and keep employee records such as attendance, vacations, and leaves of absence.
• Support performance‑management cycles and employee‑relations cases.
• Organise training sessions, internal events, and employee‑engagement initiatives.
• Perform general HR administrative tasks, including document filing and invoice processing.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a shared‑service environment.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rican labor regulations.
• University degree or certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• High level of confidentiality, ethics, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
