Global Sales Executive

About the role

The Global Sales Executive will be responsible for selling the full portfolio of FedEx products and services—both domestic and international—to designated national account customers. The role focuses on generating incremental revenue, improving profit margins, and supporting the development and execution of sales strategies that align with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Sell all FedEx services to assigned national accounts, ensuring net incremental revenue and maximum profitability.
• Develop and execute a sales work plan that includes calls, service visits, proposal presentations, VIP trips, and other activities defined by management.
• Maintain an account intelligence system to record and report sales activities, market trends, competitive actions, and industry information.
• Implement marketing and sales programs introduced by FedEx and gather competitive intelligence on pricing, tactics, and advances.
• Collaborate with FedEx resources—including headquarters, stations, credit, and BSCs—to achieve revenue targets and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Uphold FedEx sales directives, provide feedback, and coordinate national activities for assigned named accounts.
• Resolve problems and issues for assigned national accounts, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration with a focus on marketing or finance.
• Minimum five years of professional, commercial, or industrial sales experience.
• Proven ability to meet major account sales goals and to design and execute customer sales strategies.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips.
• Fluency in English.
