Especialista de Proyectos – Supply Chain

About the role

The Project Specialist will lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and CAPEX‑driven projects within the Supply Chain function in Costa Rica. You will transform business opportunities into measurable, sustainable results by overseeing the full project lifecycle, from technical and financial feasibility to digitalization and automation implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, structure, and lead continuous‑improvement projects from opportunity detection to delivery.
• Conduct economic and financial viability analyses, ensuring clear ROI and alignment with business goals.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, stakeholders, and policy compliance.
• Generate operational savings, efficiency gains, and productivity improvements that impact cost, service, or performance.
• Lead supplier tender processes, defining technical and operational requirements, evaluating bids, and finalizing contracts.
• Challenge existing supplier workflows, proposing standardization, automation, and continuous‑improvement models.
• Develop and maintain supplier manuals and guidelines to capture key company knowledge.
• Coordinate CAPEX capitalization and implementation across cross‑functional teams (Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Technology).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing logistics projects in a mass‑consumer environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Willingness to travel as project needs dictate.
