Data Analytics Manager

About the role

The GBS Digital Enablement Data Analytics Manager will lead a Costa Rica‑based team to turn global analytics strategy into actionable solutions. This senior position blends people leadership with deep technical expertise, acting as a trusted partner to business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of BI developers and analysts, handling hiring, performance management and career growth.
• Provide hands‑on guidance on data architecture, BI development, and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of analytics solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Shift the function from reactive reporting to proactive insight generation and value creation.
• Establish governance, documentation and scalability standards for all analytics deliverables.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of Business Intelligence experience, including 3‑5 years in shared services or consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proven track record leading technical BI/data‑engineering teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with high ownership and ability to operate in ambiguity.
