Customer Experience Engineer – Azure

About the role

Microsoft Azure Engineering Operations is looking for a Customer Experience Engineer to own the Azure support experience for our most critical customers. You will act as the primary technical contact, driving resolution of complex issues and supporting key customer projects on Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end engineering support for critical Azure incidents and customer projects.
• Collaborate with field teams (Customer Success Account Managers, Cloud Solution Architects, Support Escalation Engineers) and Azure engineering groups.
• Use engineering tools and customer telemetry to identify patterns, flag defects, and communicate active issues to customers and partners.
• Synthesize customer feedback to surface product gaps, drive prioritisation, and influence platform improvements.
• Escalate high‑impact problems and act as the voice of the customer within Azure.
