Senior Data Engineer (Earnix)

About the role

Coforge is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Databricks and Earnix to design, develop, and optimise production‑grade data pipelines for insurance pricing and rating data. The role is fully remote and supports candidates located in Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia or Bolivia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise data pipelines and governed data products using Azure Databricks, dbt, Python/PySpark, SQL and Delta Lake.
• Build conformed Silver and Gold data models for rating factors, model inputs, quote versions, policy premiums and related insurance data.
• Implement Lakehouse engineering practices including data quality, observability, monitoring, governance with Unity Catalog and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with pricing, actuarial, underwriting, data science, BI, architecture and quality engineering teams, providing technical leadership through design and code reviews.

Required profile

• 7+ years of data engineering experience with strong recent work on enterprise Databricks platforms.
• Proven ownership of production pipelines from design through deployment, monitoring and incident resolution.
• Experience working with insurance pricing, rating factors or actuarial data is a plus.
