About the role

TransUnion is seeking a motivated Analyst to join its growing Data Science & Analytics team. This remote position offers a collaborative environment where you will work on well‑defined analytical tasks, receive guidance, and build a solid foundation in data science and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality analytical outputs that support business decision‑making.
• Prepare, analyze, and validate data for data‑driven initiatives.
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to solve business problems under guidance.
• Help develop scalable and repeatable analytical processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business context and align solutions.
• Document and present insights clearly to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in data analysis, data science, or a related role.
• Foundational knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and programming.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and clear communication skills.
• Experience working in collaborative team environments.
• Willingness to learn, seek feedback, and continuously improve.

Required skills

• Python or R programming.
• SQL or other data‑querying languages.
• Data analysis and statistical techniques.
• Data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Task‑management tools like Jira.
