Accounting Administrative Assistant

About the role

DesignBox is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Administrative Assistant to support both accounting and administrative functions in its Escazú showroom. The role focuses on financial accuracy, organization, and effective internal coordination within a creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounting information and transactions in Odoo, including income, expenses, and invoicing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Assist in preparing accounting reports and monthly tax‑related information for filing through TribuCRO.
• Organize and maintain accounting and administrative documentation.
• Follow up on internal administrative requests and coordinate with other departments to validate financial data.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and confidentiality standards.
• Support communication and follow‑up in English when required.

Required profile

• Advanced student, technical graduate, or graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2 level).
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience or knowledge in bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Experience with accounting systems, preferably Odoo.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, follow‑through, and sense of responsibility.
