Sourcing Analyst – Knowledge Services

About the role

GEP is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to support its Knowledge Services function. The analyst will manage end‑to‑end procurement activities, collaborate with internal teams, and help clients achieve cost‑effective sourcing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle, from identifying suppliers to executing RFPs and performing price analysis.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices, applying relevant insights to assigned commodity areas.
• Conduct RFx sourcing, benchmarking, and create analyses to support supply recommendations.
• Work with suppliers and internal receiving locations to resolve discrepancies in purchase orders, requisitions, deliveries, and invoices.
• Analyze quotations, handle day‑to‑day supplier interactions, and maintain accurate PO records.
• Participate in the sourcing team to ensure compliance with procurement processes.
• Perform supplier and market research, including supplier evaluations for clients.
• Support clients with ad‑hoc sourcing requests, cost change management, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Analyze spend data and compile relevant sourcing information.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement or sourcing processes.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate quotations and spend data.
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of standard purchasing practices and techniques.
