About the role
The International Expansions team is looking for a Vendor Manager to partner with top global vendors and increase direct imports into emerging markets. You will own the end‑to‑end import supply chain, from manufacturer to Amazon fulfillment centers, and collaborate with local Vendor Managers to drive inventory strategies that enhance the customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Educate vendors on new country opportunities and build senior‑level relationships.
- Develop and improve import business to achieve cost savings and expand selection.
- Integrate new vendors into Amazon’s supply chain, compliance, and merchandising processes.
- Liaise with local Vendor Managers to align on selection needs and contractual terms.
- Monitor and own KPIs such as vendor import share, out‑of‑stock rate, and operational metrics.
- Ensure reliable, cost‑effective flow of goods from ordering to receipt.
- Lead projects and continuous business‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in retail, vendor management, supply chain, or commercial operations.
- Experience managing profit & loss or financial metrics to guide decisions.
- Proven program or project management experience with cross‑functional stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical skills using Excel and data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Fluent in spoken, written, and read English.
