About the role
Cargill is seeking a Travel Agent to support its corporate travelers by booking air, hotel, and car reservations while ensuring compliance with company travel policies. The role offers an entry‑level opportunity to develop expertise in travel systems, preferred suppliers, and service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Execute medium‑complex travel sourcing requests and support implementation of local, regional, and global sourcing decisions.
- Book domestic flights, hotels, and rental cars using approved tools and systems.
- Verify that all bookings meet Cargill’s travel policy requirements.
- Provide courteous, responsive service to travelers and travel arrangers.
- Accurately document bookings and maintain required records.
- Follow standard operating procedures and service guidelines.
- Handle basic issues under supervision and escalate more complex problems as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of customer service or administrative experience.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and follow established processes.
Required skills
- Experience with online travel booking platforms (e.g., Concur).
- Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Apollo.
