Training Manager – Nutrition Division

About the role

The Training Manager will lead the regional commercial demand‑generation training strategy for Abbott’s Nutrition Division across Central America. This role designs and delivers end‑to‑end learning experiences, partnering with commercial leadership to drive field execution, coaching, behavioral change, and measurable performance impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define, execute, and govern the regional commercial training strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and business priorities.
• Drive consistent adoption and evolution of the Sales Model across countries, establishing training standards, certifications, governance, and KPIs.
• Design and deploy scalable, role‑based learning curricula for sales, district managers, trade marketing, marketing, new hires, and high‑potential talent using blended learning and digital platforms.
• Lead Train‑the‑Trainer programs to build internal training capability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, Marketing, and other commercial functions to ensure cross‑functional integration.

Required profile

• Proven leader with strong team‑development skills and a history of empowering and growing talent.
• Experience designing and delivering commercial training programs, preferably in a multinational healthcare or nutrition environment.
• Ability to influence and achieve goals through effective team leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
• Willingness to work across Central American markets (Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic).
